Mezzy Shredder’s MP3 Player
May 24th, 2007 by Dave
Here’s a shot of it, looking pretty cool! I already have the source for the player with plain vanilla skin ready to post, but I have to clean it up a bit. Soon soon. Once it’s ready, I’ll post it up on Adobe Flex Exchange as well.
Also, much props on the sweet Flex Visualization component by Ben Stucki and Andr Michelle. I merely tweaked it for this site’s purpose. Thanks for the contribution!

Mezzy was my guitarist. We were offered to open up for a very famous band by a very famous guitarist from Jersey at a "fest." The band broke up and our chances got cut. A drummer we tested stole our bass player. It sucked but the bass player is about to make it huge, so is Mezzy. I’m left high and dry with my 2 world records coming out and my own band.
Nitemare,
That does suck. The famous band broke up, or your band you mean?
Mezzy’s been a very good friend of mine for many moons, you should all make it huge and then I’ll build you a killer site with crazy video and a new MP3 player – heh heh
and then you can bring me up live on stage in Madison Square Garden and I’ll play my sorry non-shredding speed licks. Kidding!
To all,
Mezzy Shredder here. I don’t know what crack pot said I was in his band and that I was supposed to play a “fest”,but it couldn’t be further from the truth. I am currently in a band called Wicked Society, and am recording our debut album titled “Forgotten Son”. We are represented by B&G records. I will be playing my 1st show w/ the band on January 10th, 2009 in Cedar Grove New Jresey, which is a contest to play Bamboozle. The winner either goes to L.A. or stays in Jersey. All are welcome to come and support this excellent line-up. Visit us @ myspace.com/wickedsocietynj, or you can check out some of my solo material @mezzyshredder.com. You can also e-mail me @ mezzyshredder@gmail.com. For the record, I was never asked to open up for any famous band by any famous guitar players. Who is this quote unquote “famous band anyway?”. Sounds like another loser trying to capitolize on my name and my hard work over the years. Not the 1st time, and probably not the last.
