AirSpace updated for AIR Beta 3
Dec 13th, 2007 by Dave
ATTENTION AirSpace users: AirSpace is now called MyStylez. Same great application, different name and location. AirSpace will not receive further upgrades, but instead, you should download and install MyStylez. We've made many improvements and enhancements on MyStylez and it will continue to function with your AirSpace profiles that you have saved on your computer. If you chose "yes" on the latest update for AirSpace and nothing changed, you should download MyStylez here and continue to create your profiles as before.
DOWNLOAD: MyStylez You will need the Adobe AIR Runtime to install this program. You can download and install the Adobe AIR Runtime here:
Choose the correct download for your Operating System and install the runtime before installing MyStylez.
Download MyStylez: www.mystylez.com
OOof..........wasn't so clean and simple, but all in all it didn't take that long. It's tough keeping up with Adobe's shower of betas, but as confusing as the AirSpaceProfile site is, here's some quick instructions to upgrade AirSpace......UNINSTALL IT!!! DELETE THE ENTIRE FOLDER and just download the new one. No nice way to handle it, it's the life of an app built on a Beta.
I'll write more about what I had to do to port AirSpace from AIR Beta 2 to Beta 3 on the other blog
the one that's more fun. I have some code samples to update AIR apps and more.
Update: Minor updates for porting to Beta 3 that I ran into on the other blog.
In the meantime, if you want to play with the newest AirSpace, you can download it here after you're sure you installed the latest AIR runtime and wiped out the old AirSpace
fun huh?
